Blue Ridge Mountain Homes
We have a contract on our Mountain Home in Blue Ridge and FEMA says we are in the Floor zone…surveyors no??
The survey company says we are 5 feet above the highest flood zone. Mortgage company BB&T will not accept survey and is requiring flood insurance from the buyer…..How do we change FEMA’s flood zone?
I meant to say Flood zone.
I know it can be done and I used to have that info for Phoenix area.
look for a FEMA office in the area … try their website; should have a list. then call for an appointment.
