Need to make a trip to Chattanooga TN from Cary NC and have no clue how to get there.?
Normally i would take 40 all the way but 40 going into TN is closed due to a rock slide and so i came up with another plan of going down 64 around the ocoee river, BUT guess what…now it is closed due to a massive rock slide. so i ask…Now what do i do so it wont take me 15 hrs to get to chattanooga?
Ya, you can fly if you want to pay 250 bucks for a short trip. The official 40 detour takes you up to 26 near the virginia border down to asheville- its an extra hour. Otherwise maybe 75 to atlanta then up through charlotte on 85.
